It’s been a long time contemplating, but I’m finally pushing past fear to hit publish on this blog! I’m not quite sure what I’ll make of this, but I do know what I want to take from this. You see, nothing brings me more joy than getting to know others through their stories. I’m not talking highlight reels. I’m talking highs and lows REAL. Fairytales are great, but I prefer the everyday stories of how others “figure it out” over fiction.
I’ll always respect your time as a reader. That said, I’ll assume/expect that you are here because of my grit, wit, and/or insights, not my grammar and writing ability … or inability. I’ll testify now, I’m not a writer who “crosses my T’s and dots my I’s.”I write like I talk. I’ll ramble, I’ll rant, I’ll have runaway thoughts, and I’ll probably use way too many run-on sentences.
While I don’t plan to censor my content, I do want to make sense. If you are confused by something I share, I welcome the opportunity to clarify. If you disagree, I invite you to start a discussion. I want this to be a place to share and compare perspectives.
So what will this blog be about? Your guess is as good as mine. I’ll define it as a go. Will you join me?
